The\u00a0reference software from the\u00a0Independent JPEG Group was\u00a0a\u00a0key to\u00a0the success of\u00a0the original JPEG standard and\u00a0has found widespread adoption in\u00a0applications of\u00a0image coding. The Independent JPEG Group (IJG) is located at and supported by the Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) of the University Leipzig.<\/p>\n<p>This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their \u2018Personally Identifiable Information\u2019 (PII) is being used online. PII\u00a0 is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.
